PSTD is at the forefront of trends and best practices to improve individual and organizational development through learning.
This year “HEED 2020 – Sustainable Development Conference”, hopes to establish a strong system of accountability in the community. The direction of this year’s conference is to make Health, Safety and Environment everyone’s business.
We believe it is imperative to include the corporate sector, policy makers, decision makers, academia and youth in this initiative to bring about the realization, that as being individuals we collectively need to make a change and “pay heed” to the situation around us and encourage others to focus on prevention rather than reaction.
The conference agenda is developed to highlight global urgency for environmental change and resource prevention, and have corporate and social stakeholders to share best practices to create a culture of accountability.
On 12 February, global and local experts in the field of HSE will focus on creating corporate citizenship.

2030 UN SDGS, are combination of 17 global goals, 169 targets and 230 indicators
Out of these diverse goals 7 are part of Pakistan’s Vision 2025
January 2025 is the deadline for the fulfillment of those 7UN Sustainable Development Goals.
A deadline that takes place in the future, may seem like someone else’s problem.
But if we don’t act now, then who will and when?
Now is the time to pay HEED, plan and act for future. From government to corporate, from societies to individuals, this is the time to act and make this world a better place to live.
Bringing the best stories and experiences together, HEED2020 is our opportunity to create the missing link between the SDGs 2030 and Vision 2025.

Pakistan as being one of the first countries to globally endorse UNSDGs in 2015 has shown commendable commitment to it. The parliament has unanimously approved Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as national development agenda on February 16, 2016.
A section dedicated for SDGs monitoring and coordination has been formed at the federal level in the Ministry of Planning, Development & Reforms (MoPDR) where these Goals are divided into three different priority lists.
These goals and targets are set for fifteen years and are built on the Millennium Development Goals and tends to complete what these did not achieve. The current seven pillars of Pakistan Vision 2025 are fully aligned with SDGs as they hold critical importance for the planet, humanity and prosperity.
